Août - August 2012:

Aprés plus de 30 ans d'absence, le Maroc à officialisé sa participation à l'Eurovision 2012.
Ce pays participera donc pour la 2éme fois au fameux Concours.
After over 30 years of absence, Morocco to formalize its participation in the Eurovision 2012.
So the country will participate for the 2nd time at the famous contest.

Islande - Iceland

L'Islande à l'Eurovision

La meilleure position de l'Islande au Concours a été la deuxième place, qu’ils ont obtenu deux fois: en 1999, Selma a représenté l'Islande avec la chanson "All Out Of Luck", et a terminé deuxième derrière la Suède avec la chanson de Charlotte Nilsson, En 2009 retour de l’Islande à la deuxième place, avec Jóhanna et sa ballade "Is It True?" derrière Alexander Rybac pour la Norvège.

En revanche le plus mauvais résultat de l'Islande a été la dernière place, à deux reprises aussi à ce jour:
1989, l'Islande a obtenu la dernire place avec 0 point : Daniel Agust et sa chanson "Thad sem enginn ser" n‘a pas eu un grand succés.
En 2001 Deux Tricky arrive en dernière position pour l'Islande , recevant seulement 3 points pour leur performance de "Angel".
Avec l'introduction des demi-finales en 2004, l'Islande a automatiquement été qualifiés pour la finale, en raison de la 8e place de Birgitta l'année précédente.

1990

En 2006, la prestation de la crispante et antipathique Sylvia Night ne lui assure même pas une place en finale (tant mieux , l’a regarder déjà une fois était insuportable!!)
En 2008, l'Islande a atteint la finale pour la première fois, quand Euroband a chanté "This Is My Life", une chanson « eurodance » , qui a finalement terminé 14e dans le concours.
En 2009, l'Islande à nouveau qualifiés de la demi-finale, terminant au premier rang, et finalement à la seconde place dans la finale.
Dans le concours 2010, et après avoir pris la 3e place dans la demi-finale, Hera Björk n'a pas réussi à s'accrocher et a finalement terminer 19e dans la finale.
En dépit de ces fortunes diverses, l'Islande est le deuxième pays a avoir de bons résultats sans encore jamais n’avoir gagné l’Eurovision (juste derrière Malte).
Sigridur Beinteinsdóttir a participé à trois reprises (1990, 1992 & 1994).
Selma Björnsdóttir a participé à deux reprises (1999 & 2005), comme Eiríkur Hauksson (en tant que membre du groupe 1986 et artiste solo en 2007.)
Le diffuseur islandais pour le concours est Ríkisútvarpið (RUV).

Iceland at Eurovision

Iceland's best position at the contest has been second place, which they have achieved twice: in 1999 Selma represented Iceland with the song "All Out of Luck", and came second to Sweden's Charlotte Nilsson after leading for most of the voting; 2009 returned Iceland to second place, where Jóhanna came second to Norway's Alexander Rybak with the ballad "Is It True?".
In contrast Iceland's worst result has been last place, which has been achieved twice to date: 1989 gave Iceland its first last place, when Daníel Ágúst got nul points for his entry "Það sem enginn sér"; in 2001 Two Tricky came last for Iceland, receiving just 3 points for their performance of "Angel".
With the introduction of semi-finals in 2004, Iceland automatically qualified for the final, due to Birgitta's 8th place the previous year.

1986

In 2008, Iceland reached the final for the first time, when Euroband sang "This Is My Life", a eurodance song, which eventually finished 14th in the contest. In 2009 Iceland again qualified from the semi-final, finishing first, and eventually coming second in the final. In the 2010 contest, and after taking 3rd place in the semi-final, Hera Björk didn't manage to hold on to a good spot eventually finishing 19th in the final.
Despite these mixed fortunes, Iceland is the second most successful country never to win the contest (behind only Malta).
Sigríður Beinteinsdóttir has participated three times (1990, 1992 & 1994). Selma Björnsdóttir has participated twice (1999 & 2005), as with as with Eiríkur Hauksson (as group member 1986 and solo artist in 2007.)
The Icelandic broadcaster for the contest is Ríkisútvarpið (RÚV).
　

Íslands Eurovision

Besta staða Íslands í keppninni var öðru sæti, fékk þær tvisvar: árið 1999, Selma hefur fulltrúi Íslands við lagið "All Out Of Luck" og lauk annað á bak við Svíþjóð Lagið Charlotte Nilsson er, aftur árið 2009 á Íslandi í öðru sæti, með Jóhönnu og Ballad hana "Er það satt?" Rybac bak Alexander fyrir Noreg.
Hins vegar verstu úrslit Íslands var síðast stað í tvígang sem hingað til:
1989, fékk Ísland dernire sæti með 0 stig: Daniel Ágúst og lagið hans "Thad Engineer that ser" var ekki mjög vel.

Tveir Erfiður árið 2001 kom síðast fyrir Ísland, sem fá aðeins þrjú stig fyrir árangur þeirra "Angel".
Með tilkomu undanúrslit árið 2004, var Ísland sjálfkrafa hæfir til úrslit vegna Birgitta áttunda sæti á síðasta ári.
Árið 2006, ákvæði tauga-wracking og dónalegur Sylvia Night ekki einu sinni tryggja blettur í endanlegri (allt betra, þegar var að leita eftir var óbærilegur!)
Árið 2008 hefur Ísland náð endanlega í fyrsta sinn þegar Eurobands söng "Þetta er líf mitt," lag "Eurodance" sem á endanum lauk 14. í keppni.
Árið 2009, Ísland hæfur aftur fyrir undanúrslit, klára fyrst, og að lokum að öðru sæti í úrslitaleiknum.

2009

Í 2010 samkeppni, og eftir að hafa tekið þriðja sæti í undanúrslit, Hera Björk hefur tekist að halda á og að lokum lokið 19. í endanlegri.
Þrátt fyrir þessa blönduð niðurstöður, Ísland er annað land til að hafa góðum árangri án þess að þurfa aldrei unnið Eurovision (rétt fyrir aftan Malta).
Sigríður Beinteinsdóttir tók þátt þrisvar sinnum (1990, 1992 og 1994).

Selma Björnsdóttir tekið þátt tvisvar (1999 og 2005) sem Eiríkur Hauksson (sem meðlimur hópsins 1986 og sóló listamaður árið 2007.)Íslenska útvarpsstöð fyrir keppni er Ríkisútvarpið (UVR).
