Israël ne participera certainement pas au Concours Eurovision à Bakou en 2012.La date de la finale tombe le jour de la fête de « Chavouot » qui interdit aux hébreux de se rendre dans une quelconque manifestation internationale.
D’autre part, l’Azerbaïdjan ayant une frontière commune avec l’Iran, ennemi juré d’Israël , la délégation se demande si, sur le point de la sécurité, ils ne devront pas engager certaines mesures assez onéreuses…

Israël confirme sa participation
Israël va participer au Concours Eurovision de la chanson édition de 2012. Israël est conscient de ces deux faits que le concours se tiendra dans un pays musulman et que la finale va être à la veille de la Pentecôte (Shavouth) 26/5/12.
IBA n'a pas encore décidé sur le candidat qui va représenter Israël au concours.
M. Amit Gilat, le président de l'IBA, a déclaré que l'IBA va faire de son mieux à ce concours afin que le peuple d'Israël soit satisfait de son représentant.
Israel Confirm his participation
Israel is going to participate in Eurovision Song Contest edition of 2012. Israel is aware to the two facts that the contest in being held in a Muslim country and that the final is going to be in the eve of the Pentecost Day (Shavouth) 26/5/12.
IBA did not decide yet about the candidate that is going to represent Israel in the contest.
Mr Amit Gilat, the chairman of IBA, said that IBA is going to do its best in the contest in order that the people of Israel will be satisfied from its representative.
