Après la victoire de Kalush Orchestra en 2022,
l'Ukraine est
invitée par l'UER à
accueillir le Concours 2023 selon la tradition de l'Eurovision. Les prépératifs
débutent lorsque Martin Österdahl remet
à la délégation ukrainienne les premiers documents concernant l'organisation de
l'événement pendant la conférence de presse suivant la victoire du pays.
Ce serait la troisième fois que l'Ukraine
accueillerait l'événement, après 2005 et 2017.
Dans le contexte tendu de l'invasion de
l'Ukraine par la Russie en 2022, l'UER publie un communiqué
précisant que la priorité est bien de travailler avec le diffuseur
ukrainien UA:PBC malgré les difficultés.
Cependant, certains médias supposent que dans
ce contexte, l'Ukraine pourrait ne pas accueillir le Concours et qu'un pays
du Big Five — composé de l'Allemagne, de
l'Espagne, de la France, de l'Italie et du Royaume-Uni — pourrait être
invité à accueillir l'édition.
Plusieurs pays expriment dès le le souhait d'accueillir le concours 2023 dans
l'éventualité où l'Ukraine n'en aurait pas la possibilité.
Ainsi, le diffuseur espagnol, RTVE, se dit prêt à
accueillir le Concours. Les autorités locales de plusieurs villes espagnoles,
dont Madrid, Barcelone et Valence, indiquent leur intérêt.
Stefano Coletta, directeur de Rai 1 — diffuseur italien hôte en 2022 —,
déclare que la Rai est intéressée
par l'organisation d'un nouveau Concours en Italie6. Stefano Lo Russo, maire de Turin et
ville hôte en 2022, ajoute que la ville est disposée à accueillir le Concours
une deuxième fois.
De plus, Anna König Jerlmyr, maire de Stockholm en Suède, propose également d'accueillir le Concours. L'un des
sites potentiels suggérés par Jerlmyr serait l'Avicii Arena, qui a précédemment accueilli le Concours
en 2000 et 2016.
En Pologne, le président de TVP, Jacek Kurski, déclare que la Pologne est prête à aider à
l'organisation du Concours 2023 si on le leur demandait. Au Royaume-Uni, le Secrétaire d'État aux Affaires, Kwasi Kwarteng, annonce que le pays serait honoré d'accueillir
le Concours en 2023 si le besoin s'en fait sentir mais rappelle que Volodymyr Zelensky est
convaincu que le Concours se tiendra en Ukraine.
Enfin, aux Pays-Bas, Marnix Kaart, un des réalisateurs de l'édition 2021 évoque
la possibilité que le concours se tienne aux Pays-Bas en 2023. Les
diffuseurs AVROTROS et NPO indiquent
qu'ils considéreraient la possibilité si on le leur demandait mais rappellent
que cette décision est entre les mains de l'UER et UA:PBC.
Le , le diffuseur UA:PBC réaffirme cependant son souhait d'accueillir le
Concours sur le sol ukrainien.
The Eurovision Song Contest
2023 will be the 67th edition of the Contest. After the victory of KalushOrchestra representing Ukraine during the previous
edition, the country has the right of first refusal concerning the hosting of
the Competition. However, against the backdrop of Russia's invasion of Ukraine
in 2022, the country may not host Eurovision 2023.
After the victory of Kalush Orchestra in 2022,
Ukraine is invited by the EBU to host the 2023 Contest according to the
tradition of Eurovision. Preparations begin when Martin Österdahl gives the
Ukrainian delegation the first documents concerning the organization of the
event during the press conference following the country's victory.
It would be the third time Ukraine has hosted the
event, after 2005 and 2017.
In the tense context of the invasion of Ukraine by
Russia in 2022, the EBU publishes a press release stating that the priority is
indeed to work with the Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC despite the difficulties.
However, some media speculate that in this context,
Ukraine might not host the Competition and that a country from the Big Five —
consisting of Germany, Spain, France, Italy and the Kingdom United — could be
asked to host the edition.
However, the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr
Zelensky, expresses the wish that it takes place in Mariupol.
Several countries expressed as of May 15, 2022 the
wish to host the 2023 competition in the event that Ukraine does not have the
possibility.
Thus, the Spanish broadcaster, RTVE, says it is
ready to host the Competition. Local authorities in several Spanish cities,
including Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, are indicating interest.

broadcaster in 2022 — says that Rai is interested in organizing a new
Competition in Italy6. Stefano Lo Russo, Mayor of Turin and host city in 2022,
adds that the city is ready to host the Competition for a second time.
In addition, Anna König Jerlmyr, Mayor of Stockholm
in Sweden, also offers to host the Competition. One of the potential venues
suggested by Jerlmyr would be the Avicii Arena, which previously hosted the
Contest in 2000 and 2016.
In Poland, TVP President Jacek Kurski says Poland
is ready to help organize the 2023 Competition if asked. In the United Kingdom,
the Secretary of State for Business, Kwasi Kwarteng, announces that the country
would be honored to host the Competition in 2023 if the need arises but recalls
that Volodymyr Zelensky is convinced that the Competition will be held in
Ukraine.
Finally, in the Netherlands, Marnix Kaart, one of
the directors of the 2021 edition, talks about the possibility of the
competition being held in the Netherlands in 2023. The broadcasters AVROTROS
and NPO indicate that they would consider the possibility if asked. but recall
that this decision is in the hands of the EBU and UA:PBC.
On May 16, 2022, however, broadcaster UA:PBC
reaffirms its wish to host the Competition on Ukrainian soil.
Пісенний конкурс Євробачення 2023 стане 67-м конкурсом. Після перемоги
Калуського оркестру, який представляв Україну на попередньому турі, країна має
право першої відмови щодо проведення Конкурсу. Однак на тлі вторгнення Росії в
Україну в 2022 році країна може не приймати Євробачення-2023.
Після перемоги Калуського оркестру у 2022 році, Україна за традицією
Євробачення запрошується ЄВС на проведення конкурсу 2023 року. Підготовка починається
з того, що під час прес-конференції після перемоги країни Мартін Естердаль
передає українській делегації перші документи щодо організації заходу.
Це буде вже третій раз, коли Україна проводить подію після 2005 та 2017
років.
У напруженому контексті вторгнення Росії в Україну у 2022 році ЄВС публікує
прес-реліз, у якому зазначається, що, незважаючи на труднощі, справді
пріоритетом є робота з українським мовником UA:PBC.
Однак деякі ЗМІ припускають, що в цьому контексті Україна може не приймати
Конкурс і що країну з великої п’ятірки, яка складається з Німеччини, Іспанії,
Франції, Італії та Сполученого Королівства, можуть попросити провести видання.
Проте президент України Володимир Зеленський висловлює бажання, щоб це
відбулося в Маріуполі.
Декілька країн станом на 15 травня 2022 року висловили бажання провести
конкурс у 2023 році, якщо Україна не має такої можливості.
Таким чином, іспанський мовник RTVE заявляє, що готовий провести Конкурс.
Місцева влада кількох іспанських міст, зокрема Мадрида, Барселони та Валенсії,
виявляють інтерес.

Мовники AVROTROS та NPO зазначають, що вони розглянуть можливість, якщо
запитають. Але нагадуємо що це рішення в руках ЄВС та UA:PBC.
Однак 16 травня 2022 року телекомпанія UA:PBC підтверджує своє бажання
провести Конкурс на українській землі.
