Aéroport international de Kiev (IEV) a annoncé que du 14 mai au 24 mai, l'aéroport sera fermé pour les rénovations de la piste.
La fermeture du plus petit des deux aéroports de Kyiv aura lieu le lendemain de la finale de la 62e édition du Concours Eurovision de la chanson en Ukraine.
Pendant la fermeture tous les vols qui normalement arrivent et partent de IEV seront plutôt manipulés à l'aéroport international de Kyiv Boryspil. Une perturbation est susceptible de se produire avec l'aéroport et son infrastructure existante pour fonctionner au-dessus de la capacité normale.

Ceux qui partent de Kiev Boryspil sont également conseillé de vérifier auprès de leur compagnie aérienne avant leur départ de la ville, en raison de retards possibles et les horaires de départ changé à partir du nombre accru de vols quittant Boryspil.
Environ 20.000 ressortissants étrangers sont attendus à ce concours Eurovision de la chanson de l'année à Kiev selon l'administration de la ville. Les billets pour tous les spectacles ont été mis en vente dans un certain nombre de vagues, avec un intérêt particulièrement élevé de la Russie, la Biélorussie et le Royaume-Uni.
Kyiv International Airport (IEV) has announced that from May 14 to May 24, the airport will be closed for runway renovations.
The closure of the smaller of Kyiv’s two airports will take place the day after the final of the 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine. During the closure all flights that would normally arrive and depart from IEV will instead be handled at Kyiv Boryspil International Airport. Disruption is likely to occur with the airport and its existing infrastructure to be running at above normal capacity.

Those departing from Kyiv Boryspil are also advised to check with their airline ahead of their departure from the city, due to possible delays and changed departure times from the increased number of flights leaving Boryspil.
Around 20,000 foreign nationals are expected to attend this years Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv according to the city’s administration. Tickets for all of the shows have gone on sale in a number of waves, with interest especially high from Russia, Belarus and the United Kingdom.
