La Moldavie à l’Eurovision

La Moldavie ne participe au concours Eurovision de la chanson que depuis 2005.
Le radio-diffuseur moldave, Teleradio-Moldova, n'a rejoint l'UER - appartenance obligatoire pour participer au concours - qu'en 2004.
Suite aux mauvais résultats de la Moldavie au concours 2006, TRM avait annoncé leur retrait du concours et ne prévoirait pas de budget pour le concours 2007.
Mais suite à la pression du public, TRM a envoyé Natalia Barbu avec la chanson "Fight".
La Moldavie a donc participé tous les ans depuis 2005.

En 2008, la Moldavie, pour la première fois en 4 ans depuis sa 1ére participation, n'a pas réussi à faire la finale avec Geta Burlacu et sa chanson « Century of love »
En 2010, un saxophoniste Sergey Stepanov du groupe « SunStroke Project »
et Olia Tira est devenu phénomène Internet en raison de son solo de saxophone 30 secondes.

2010

Le saxophoniste est appelé "The Epic Sax Guy".
Le groupe « Zdob şi Zdub » a représenté 2 fois son pays. En 2005 et en 2011 avec une mise en scène et des costume toujours très « FUN ».
　

Moldova at Eurovision

Moldova does not participate in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2005.
The Moldovan broadcaster, Teleradio Moldova, has joined the EBU - membership required to enter the contest - in 2004.
Following the poor results of the 2006 contest Moldova, TRM had announced their withdrawal from the contest and does not provide budget for the 2007 competition. But following public pressure, TRM sent Natalia Barbu with the song "Fight". Moldova has participated every year since 2005.

2005

In 2008, Moldova, for the first time in 4 years since his 1st participation, failed to make the final with Geta Burlacu and his song "Century of Love"
In 2010, a saxophonist Sergey Stepanov group "Sunstroke Project" Olia Tira and become Internet phenomenon because of his saxophone solo 30 seconds.
The saxophonist is called "The Epic Sax Guy".

The band "Zdob şi Zdub" represented his country two times. In 2005 and 2011 with a stage and costumes always very "FUN".
